THE SNOW FAERIE.
The Snow Faerie is based on a story I heard when I was a kid from my aunt who had loads of stories from her grandmother in County Clare, Ireland. I remember my own mother walking with me when I was a tiny nipper with the heavy frost shimmering on the road. I asked her what it was and she told me the frost catching the light was the snow fairy’s dancing.
My best mate Audi was the model for this when she was living nearby and could always be counted on for a quick photo or sketch so I could get the figure right.
