Description

Are you bored? Are your kids bored?

Print off this black and white image and colour it yourself!

I’d love to see the finished products too! Just show me over social media!

I also realize that many people don’t have printers and I’d like to find an app that you could upload the image to and color by numbers. I have not had any luck finding an app that does this so please let me know if you know a good one. Email contact@jimfitzpatrick.com

The Spiral Path

The three-legged Triskele symbolizes the rotational symmetry of the Triple Spiral representing the spirals of the heavens, the eternal wheels within wheels spinning the stars and giving us life.

The earliest creation of this beautiful and iconic triple spiral motif dates back to the Neolithic era in Ireland where it can be seen at the entrance to the extraordinary tumulus -and oldest building the entire world -the world-famous Newgrange sacred solar observatory in County Meath, a construction dating from 5,000 years ago.

I feel this symbol has transcended time from many thousands of years ago during the age of the ancient druids of Newgrange to the story of Saint Patrick and the shamrock explaining the Holy Trinity.
When I look into the triple spirals I see the thread that connects our present day to our known heritage and see the same stars that guided our ancestors guide us.
Were they not searching for the same answers to the same questions?
