NIGHTWATCH
One of my own favourite seasonal images.
This evocation of the spirit of ancient monastic Ireland is a reconstruction of a lost work that ‘disappeared’ way back. To reproduce this artwork I went back to the image printed on a Christmas card, scanned it hi-res and worked for many hours restoring it to somewhere as close as possible to the original art which, unfortunately was never returned to me…’lost’ I was told.
It will turn up one day.
