Newgrange is, according to Arthur C. Clarke, the author of 2001, ‘the oldest building in the entire world’, predating the pyramids of Egypt and even Stonehenge by a thousand years.
I have always found it so profoundly impressive and have been inside and out many times. It never ceases to amaze me and fill me with wonder.
