MEDB (MAEVE), QUEEN OF CONNACHT
This depiction of Queen Medb shows her as a young girl in front of her fortress at Crúachan Ai, in present-day Roscommon. I have visited Cruachan myself and while there is not much left to see I did have a most bizarre experience while rambling the fields around it that convinced me there is so much more in the area to be excavated and explored.
