Description
This is a reproduction from the original painting commissioned by the Royal Mail in Great Britain for their centenary celebrations and was for use in the section on Northern Ireland. It would have made a cool stamp too. My son Conánn helped me out with some of the drawing for this one.
The best-known tale of the giant Fionn tells how, in a fit of anger, he seized a huge chunk of earth and flung it into the Irish Sea, creating the Isle of Man while Lough Neagh formed from the massive hole left behind in the ground.
