This great decorated stone at the rear of the huge tumulus of Newgrange holds many secrets of the origin of the race that built it and bounds a massive solar clock, which still keeps accurate time after 5,000 years.
Older than the pyramids or Stonehenge by a thousand years it is an amazing demonstration of Stone Age science in Ireland, built by some of the earliest inhabitants of the island after the Ice Age.
