CRUITNE, DAUGHTER OF LOCHAN. 1977.

Cruitne was the beautiful daughter of the chieftain Lochan but fell in love with the youthful warrior Finn McCool, much to the disgust of her father who disapproved as the warrior Goll wanted the head of Finn on a plate for a great insult to him and his people. They became lovers but never married as Finn was afraid the Cruitne would be killed in his place if they were man and wife.

That’s his excuse anyway… 🙂

I created this hand enhanced print to commemorate the restoration of my Cruitne stain-glass window in Bewley’s of Grafton Street.

EU, UK, and Irish residents, there may be customs/duties payable upon delivery and we will refund any that you incur.

We succeeded in getting the customs/duties exemption for the new Portfolio so things are looking hopeful we can do the same for prints.

Fees are usually €9 but can be more or less if charged at all. This is hardly ideal and we apologize for any inconvenience. Just email us the notice you get with any customs/duties charges and we will refund them.

This does not effect portfolios/books, Che prints, hand-enhanced prints, posters, scarves or anything else, just regular prints.
