It is easy to draw a heart, it takes time to declare love, but love has to be an enduring journey, I wanted to connect the infinity of the Spiral Path with the beauty and simplicity of the heart for this St. Valentine’s Day.

The photos try to show how the light plays beautifully with the hand-enhancing. The first image is a scan showing the most accurate color where the vibrant red really stands out and is the best representation of the image you will receive. The other photos are much darker in order to catch the light of the hand-enhancing.

The title means ‘Soulmate’ in Gaelic.
Pronounced ‘aun-im-KAHR-ah’

Designed and signed by Jim Fitzpatrick and hand-enhanced by Suzanne FitzPatrick. Limited edition of 25, after the 25 have sold out this will be a signed unnumbered open-edition print. Size: A4 8″x11″ on pearlescent paper.

The title was inspired by the book of the same name, from 1997, by Irish writer and mystic John O’Donohue:
‘Anam Cara: A book of Celtic Wisdom’.
It was the saintly Brigit of Kildare who said: ‘To be without a soulmate is like to be a body without a head’.

The three-legged Triskele symbolizes the rotational symmetry of the Triple Spiral representing the spirals of the heavens, the eternal wheels within wheels spinning the stars and giving us life. I feel a strong connection to this symbol which has been carved into the wood and rock in Ireland for countless thousands of years.

The heavens, our souls, and love transcend our routine lives and connect us all in our aspirations. This is as true now as it was thousands of years ago.

Customs and Duties Notice, Prints Only.

EU, UK, and Irish residents, there may be customs/duties payable upon delivery and we will refund any that you incur. 

We succeeded in getting the customs/duties exemption for the new Portfolio so things are looking hopeful we can do the same for prints.

Fees are usually €9 but can be more or less if charged at all. This is hardly ideal and we apologize for any inconvenience. Just email us the notice you get with any customs/duties charges and we will refund them.

This does not effect portfolios/books, Che prints, hand-enhanced prints, posters, scarves or anything else, just regular prints.
