Lá Féile Padraig by Jim FitzPatrick & his daughter Suzanne.

I wanted to do something new and original for St. Patrick’s day this year, so Suzanne suggested we use the familiar symbol of the shamrock and connect it to one of my artworks. I am extremely happy with this modern interpretation of a classic symbol of Ireland.

Mixing the old and the new is something that I’ve always loved and this is a perfect example where my artwork is in the style of the monks who illustrated The Book of Kells over a thousand years ago. Using this old-style imagery brings us back to the earliest ideas of St. Patrick taking and molding the pagan symbolism of the Shamrock into a Christian icon.

Customs and Duties Notice, Prints Only.

EU, UK, and Irish residents, there may be customs/duties payable upon delivery and we will refund any that you incur.

We succeeded in getting the customs/duties exemption for the new Portfolio so things are looking hopeful we can do the same for prints.

Fees are usually €9 but can be more or less if charged at all. This is hardly ideal and we apologize for any inconvenience. Just email us the notice you get with any customs/duties charges and we will refund them.

This does not effect portfolios/books, Che prints, hand-enhanced prints, posters, scarves or anything else, just regular prints.
