Croí na Ceiste is the name of the original artwork and means the Heart of the Matter in Gaelic. This heart represents two hearts closely entwined with another, giving love, loyalty and friendship. closely entwined with another, giving love, loyalty and friendship.
The original version of this work, Croí na Ceiste, was designed and painted in 1996, I had wanted to pay tribute to the many amazing and strong women that featured in my long life, including my daughter Suzanne.
Now, Suzanne has adapted my design and is offering a new hand enhanced version especially for St. Valentine’s Day.
