NUADA AND THE GOD OF THE OTHERWORLD
This painting was for my second book in the Conquests trilogy, The Silver Arm. Nuada, who has lost his arm in battle, is under the power of the healer Dian Chéacht and in his healing delirium is transported to the Otherworld where he sees the future and his reinstatement as High King with a newly forged arm of silver. This came to pass and his was known forever as the mighty warrior-king Nuada of the Silver Arm.
